Jonathan was from Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts, son of Jonathan Blaisdell, Sr. (11 Oct 1676-Nov 1748) and Hannah Jameson (~1675-1718).
Hannah was also from Amesbury, daughter of John Jones I (24 Feb 1683-1 Jun 1749) and Hannah Hoag (3 Jan 1683-30 Apr 1710). There are several dates claimed for her birth, and the one used above conflicts with date of death for her mother, but it’s hard to find reliable witnesses.
Jonathan and Hannah married in Amesbury on 8 Aug 1731. They moved soon after to Kingston, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, where all their children were born.
Jonathan was a blacksmith. He and William Whittier built the iron works at Trickling Falls. There are records of a Hampton, New Hampshire soldier in the Revolutionary War named John Blaisdell. Might have been him.
Hannah died in 1756 in East Kingston, Rockingham County, apparently in childbirth.
Jonathan drew up a will on 11 May 1781. He died in 1783 in East Kingston.
The Jonathan and Hannah Blaisdell who had children in 1769 and 1771 back in Amesbury, Massachusetts were a different couple.
Henry #2, the one who married four times, died about 1825 in Tamworth, New Hampshire.
Mary has her own entry in the family tree.
Jonathan III married Miriam Blaisdell (1739-????), daughter of Ralph Blaisdell, Jr. and Mary Nichols, in 1763. Known children:
Jane (29 Dec 1762-????)
Mary (10 Apr 1765-9 May 1839) — m. Ezra Mudgett on 8 Aug 1785
Ralph (29 Dec 1768-????)
Jonathan IV (28 Feb 1772-????)
Daniel (12 Mar 1776-????)
Hannah (9 Jul 1778-11 Sep 1829)
Betty (23 Apr 1781-????)
They lived in Weare, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire. Jonathan died there in 1784.
Hannah #2 married Daniel Eastman in 1779. She resided in Northfield, Sanbornton, and Enfield, New Hampshire.
